Ryan Royall life cut short by a senseless act

Ryan Royall, of Hillcrest High School, journey to college was cut short when he was attending a party at Ho-Chuck Sports and Expo center.

He hoped to earn a college scholarship so his mother would not have to worry about money and college scouts were already taking notice with his play in high school as well as with his 16U AAU team.

Crete-Monee High School Coach Charged...

High School boys basketball coach Matthew Ryndak, accused of molesting a male student four times, turned himself in to police Wednesday on a charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

UPDATED: June 20, 2011
Matt Ryndak, the embattled Crete-Monee High School boys varsity basketball, was fired Tuesday night by the school board, according to a published report. Ryndak, also a physical education teacher at the school, was placed on administrative leave in May and charged May 25 in Will County with aggravated criminal sexual abuse for allegedly molesting a teen on four occasions last fall. He was released on bond. For more visit NWITIMES.

Will County State's Attorney spokesman Charles Pelkie said the eight-count charge alleges Ryndak, 30, inappropriately touched the boy in September, October, November and December 2010. Click here for more!
