SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11
GIRLS BASKETBALL

Young 60, Trinity 45
Chanise Jenkins had 22 points and 10 steals to lead Young (6-1). Linnae Harper also chipped in 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Dolphins.

Marian Catholic 67, Marist 58
Jasmine Matthews finished with 25 points for Marian Catholic. Marist's Leah Bolton scored 26 and grabbed 11 rebounds in the loss.

Morgan Park 51, Penn (Ind.) 36

Bishop McNamara 64, Carmel 41
Erika Tatum led the way for Bishop McNamara (5-2) with 26 points and Belinda Schaasma chipped in 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Kathleen Roche and Sarah Williams led Fenwick (8-1, 2-0) to victory with 15 points and 12 points, respectively.

Jasmine Williams led Lincoln Park (10-0) with 12 points, but the winning effort was aided by Diamond Houston's 11 points and 10 points apiece from Teashea Smalls and Vanessa Henley.

Kyra Navarrete and Kathleen Roche each scored 16 points for Fenwick (7-1, 1-0). Navarrete also grabbed 10 rebounds in her double-double performance.
