Wayne Blackshear had 30 points, 17 rebounds, six blocks and five steals and Billy Garrett had 10 points, including going 6-for-6 on free throws in the final minute.


GALESBURG TOURNAMENT

Curie 68, Urbana 60

Curie was led by Josh Batson with 19 points.


Galesburg 68, Washington 28

Markease Hargrove lead Washington with 12 points.

Rich Central 73, Collins 55

Terrone Parham had 13 points to lead Rich Central. Greg Parker added 11 in the win. Andre Stoutmire had a game-high 22 for Collins.


Rich Central 101, Urbana 87

Adedeji Ibitayo shot 10-of-12 from the free-throw line and finished with 26 points for Rich Central. Devon Almon also scored 22 in the win.


ST. RITA TOURNAMENT

Kenwood 60, Uplift 56

Kevin Swanson had 13 for Kenwood (1-1). Uplift's Jabril Gushinere scored 16 in the loss.


St. Rita 78, Seton 63

Luke Barry scored 17 points, Cullen Foulkes scored 16 points, and Dominique Matthews scored 14 points for St. Rita (2-0).


Tinley Park 75, Traders Point Christian Academy (Ind.) 41

Tinley Park (2-0) was led by Tony Core with 20 points and 6 rebounds and Steve White with 19 points and 6 rebounds.


STAGG TOURNAMENT

St. Laurence 71, Willowbrook 45

Mike McGinty had 22 points for St. Laurence (1-3).


Championship: De La Salle 47, Stagg 40

Mike Shaw had 16 points to lead De La Salle (4-0). Darius Draper scored 14 in the loss for Stagg (3-1).


WJOL TOURNAMENT

Rich South 65, Aurora Central Catholic 52

Joe McEachern led Aurora Central Catholic (1-3) with 12 points in the loss.

LINCOLN-WAY CENTRAL TOURNAMENT

Plainfield North 45, Lincoln-Way Central 42

Tournament MVP Cassie Wolfe scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Plainfield North (3-2). Amanda Gagliano led Lincoln-Way Central with 14 points.


MAINE WEST TOURNAMENT (Tip-Off Classic)

Marian Catholic 56, Mother McAuley 48

Jamie Johnson scored 14 points to lead Marian Catholic (4-0). Simone Law added nine points and seven rebounds.


Oak Forest 62, Sandburg 55

Katie Swanson had 21 points and seven rebounds for Oak Forest (4-2).


NEW TRIER TOURNAMENT

Championship: New Trier 55, Bogan 47

Hayley Campbell scored 16 points and Jessica Blackwell had 12 points for the Trevians (3-1).


NILES NORTH TOURNAMENT

Resurrection 54, Niles North 49

Liz Rehberger had 14 points and Annie Stauffer had 11 points for Resurrection (3-2).


Championship: Fenwick 60, Proviso East 57

Kyra Navarette had 17 points and Sarah Williams had 14 points for Fenwick (6-0).


SIMEON TOURNAMENT

Hyde Park 54, Uplift 27

Paris Bradley had 17 points for Hyde Park (5-1). Katherine Harris had 11 points and T.K. Weathersby added 10 in the win.

Hillcrest 63, Homewood-Flossmoor 55
Julius Brown finished the game with 25 points, six rebounds, seven assists and five steals for Hillcrest (4-0).

GALESBURG TOURNAMENT
Thornridge 61, Urbana 48
Sinclair Stevenson had 18 points and Barry Howard had 14 points for Thornridge (1-0).

Thornridge 55, Collins 51
Sinclair Stevenson had 19 points and William Stevenson had 15 points for Thornridge (2-0). Tyrone Jenkins had 16 points for Collins.

LINCOLN-WAY NORTH TOURNAMENT
Championship: Plainfield East 59, Lincoln-Way East 47
Dee Brown scored 13 of his 29 points in the fourth quarter as Plainfield East (4-0) won the Lincoln-Way North tournament. Plainfield held Lincoln-Way East without a field goal in the third quarter to make up an 11-point deficit to the Griffins and pull away for the win.

ST. RITA TOURNAMENT
St. Rita 81, Uplift 52
Tony Hicks scored 16 points for St. Rita and coach Gary DeCesera notched his 300th career win.

WJOL CLASSIC
Joliet Catholic 69, Providence 46
Breshion Tucker had 23 points for Joliet Catholic (2-1). Mike Marietti had 13 points for Providence (0-3).

Joliet Central 48, Romeoville 46
Curtis Parker had 18 points for Joliet Central (1-2). Antwan Hill had 16 points for Romeoville (1-2).

LINCOLN-WAY CENTRAL TOURNAMENT
Plainfield North 57, Thornridge 20
Cassie Wolfe led Plainfield North (2-2) with 13 points.

Shepard 35, Lincoln-Way Central 33
Jamila McClinton finished the game with 15 points for Shepard (2-2).

MAINE WEST TOURNAMENT (Tip-Off Classic)
Marian Catholic 58, Hersey 42
Simone Law had 25 points, seven rebounds and two blocks for Marian Catholic (3-0).

Stevenson 55, Mother McAuley 25
Stevenson's Michelle O'Brien and Kari Moffat each scored 14 points to lead the Patriots (3-0).

MARIST TOURNAMENT
Marist 51, St. Ignatius 33
JeTaun Rouse scored 19 points and Leah Bolton had 13 for Marist.

Marist 71, Stagg 53
JeTaun Rouse scored 25 points and Leah Bolton had 19 for Marist.

Homewood-Flossmoor 56, Oak Park 42
Jailyn Norris had 14 points and Charnelle Reed scored 10 for Homewood-Flossmoor. Stekara Hall had a game high 18 points.

Homewood-Flossmoor 77, T.F. North 60
Jailyn Norris had 12 points, Sydni Johnson scored 11 and Amena Brent had 10 for Homewood-Flossmoor.

St. Ignatius 53, Oak Park 50
Gena Lenti scored 17 points in the win. Caroline Kelty had 15 for Oak Park.

T.F. North's Brittany Chester had 12 points in the win.

Hillcrest 66, Bishop McNamara 53
Tournament MVP Jasmine Sanders scored 23 points to lead Hillcrest (3-1) to its fifth consecutive Rich South tournament championship.

MARIST TOURNAMENT
Oak Park 60, Stagg 45
Bridget Adams led Stagg with 13 points in the loss.

MORGAN PARK ACADEMY TOURNAMENT
3rd place: Illinois Lutheran 41, Hope Academy 33
Championship: St. Francis de Sales 56, Morgan Park Academy 38

LATIN TOURNAMENT

De La Salle 49, Payton 21
JaVonna Smith (13 points) and Kiara Carter (12 points) were the leading scorers for De La Salle (4-0), which captured the tournament championship.

LINCOLN-WAY CENTRAL TOURNAMENT
Lincoln-Way Central 45, Thornridge 27
Rachel Post led Lincoln-Way Central (1-1) with 15 points.

BOYS BASKETBALL

CHICAGO HEIGHTS CLASSIC
Hillcrest 59, Bloom 43
Kadeem Thornton had 18 points in the win for Hillcrest. Bloom's Donald Moore led all scorers with 20.

Mount Carmel 90, South Shore 44
Tracy Abrams scored 21 points and Alex Austin added 18 more for Mount Carmel.

EISENHOWER TOURNAMENT
Eisenhower 115, Shepard 113 (2 OT)
Eisenhower made 21 3-pointers in the game, tying a 
state record. Tyron Terrell led the scoring with 37 points. Shepard's Dontae McCoy had 22 in the loss.

Vocational 69, Corliss 64
Robert Hurd had 33 points and seven assists for Vocational (1-1). Khalil Valentine also scored 16 in the win.

OAK LAWN TOURNAMENT
Crete-Monee 71, Oak Forest 43
Jamee Crockett had 23 points and nine rebounds and sophomore LaQuon Treadwell had 12 points and four rebounds to lead Crete-Monee to the tournament title. Greg Mays had 12 rebounds in the win.

Oak Lawn 53, Andrew 51
Oak Lawn's Anthony Johnson scored 13 of his 15 points in the second half.

ST. CHARLES EAST TOURNAMENT
East Aurora 74, Hales 67
UConn-bound Ryan Boatright had 24 points, eight rebounds and five assists to lead East Aurora.

WJOL TOURNAMENT

Lockport 60, Providence 34
Kyle Ward scored 20 points and Karrington Ward added 11 points for Lockport (2-0). Brian Oddo scored 12 points for Providence (0-2).

Plainfield Central 76, Joliet Central 63
Andre Norris had 21 points and 16 rebounds to lead Plainfield Central (2-0). Joliet Central's Curtis Parker had a game-high 24 points in the loss.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 23
GIRLS BASKETBALL

Curie 48, Raby 16
Kaelynn Manning led Curie (1-2) with 19 points and 10 rebounds and Sandra Robinson also scored 10 points.

Lincoln-Way East 57, Proviso East 41
Kelly McGovern had 16 points and Taylor Johnson scored 15 as Lincoln-Way East improved to 4-1.

Vocational 43, King 35
Channel Lockhart had 18 points and 12 assists for Vocational (2-0). Amber Lewis also added 20 points and seven rebounds in the win.

De La Salle 75, Latin 50
Kiara Carter and JaVonna Smith each scored 22 points for De La Salle (3-0).

MARIST TOURNAMENT
Marist 77, Homewood-Flossmoor 48
Jetaun Rouse scored 22 and Leah Bolton had 18 points for Marist.

BOYS BASKETBALL

CHICAO HEIGHTS CLASSIC
Homewood-Flossmoor 70, Mount Carmel 58
Homewood-Flossmoor's Tyrone Sherman had 22 points while Julian Lewis and Delvon Rencher each scored 14.

JOHN MCBRIDE CLASSIC (at Stagg)
De La Salle 80, St. Laurence 36
Dre Henley scored 22 points and had nine steals for De La Salle (2-0). Michael Shaw also had 13 points in the win.

BOYS BASKETBALL - MONDAY, November 22

Crete-Monee 48, Andrew 45
Kentrell King scored 12 and Michael Orris and Greg Mays each had 10 for Crete-Monee (1-0). Jamee Crockett had nine points and 14 rebounds in the win.

CHICAGO HEIGHTS CLASSIC
Bloom 75, Fenger 26
Bloom was led by Donald Moore with 13 points, Edward Williams with 12 points and Johnny Griffin with 10.


Hillcrest 73, Thornwood 51
Julius Brown led Hillcrest with 40 points.

Homewood-Flossmoor 80, South Shore 32
Julian Lewis scored 23 for a Tim Williams-less Homewood-Flossmoor team (1-0). Tyrone Sherman had 19 points and Delvon Rencher scored 17.

Mount Carmel 75, Marian Catholic 26
Mount Carmel's Tracy Abrams had 14 points and Wyn Bradley and Marcus Smith each added 10 in the win. The Caravan outrebound Marian Catholic 55-16.

EISENHOWER TOURNAMENT
Eisenhower 97, Richards 95 (OT)
Tyrone Terrell scored 29 points for Eisenhower, including a game-tying three-pointer with 4 seconds remaining in regulation. Eisenhower made 19 three-pointers as a team.

LINCOLN-WAY NORTH TOURNAMENT
Lincoln-Way West 64, Bremen 53
TJ Dikos hit four three-pointers and finished with 16 points for Lincoln-Way West. Mike Marotta added 14 points and nine rebounds.

Plainfield East 61, Lincoln-Way Central 52
Dee Brown had 25 points and Austin Robinson had 16 points for Plainfield East. Brian Bennett had seven rebounds in the win.

OAK LAWN TOURNAMENT
Oak Lawn 57, Oak Forest 50
Colin Altenburg scored 17 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for Oak Law. Jon Matthews also had 10 points in the win.

STAGG TOURNAMENT
De La Salle 83, Willowbrook 27 
Jaylon Tate, Dre Henley and Alvin Ellis each scored 13 points in the win for De La Salle. Michael Shaw and DeMarcus Richardson each added 11.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

RICH SOUTH TOURNAMENT
Bishop McNamara 57, Rich South 48
Bishop McNamara's Erika Tatum had 25 points in the win. Melissa LaRue added 10 points and seven assists and Belinda Schaafsma had 12 rebounds and six points for the Fightin' Irish (2-0).

Hillcrest 83, Bloom 46
Shannise Heady scored 21 points and Yolanda DeLaTorre added 17 more for Hillcrest (2-1).

MARIST TOURNAMENT
Homewood-Flossmoor 71, Stagg 41
AJ Mickens had 12 points and 10 rebounds to help Homewood-Flossmoor to the win. Ashley Collins had 19 points and Sydni Johnson added 17 for the Vikings (3-0).

Marist 65, Oak Park 36
Leah Bolton had 14 points and C'airra Cortez scored 13 for Marist. Oak Park's Stekara Hall led all scorers with 19 points.

T.F. North 45, St. Ignatius 40
