2012 ROAD to normal

The Girls basketball playoffs tips off February 13 around the State of Illinois. This begins the Road to Normal (Redbird Arena) (Bradley University), which will be Friday, February 24 where class 1A and 2A finals will take place, while class 3A and 4A gets started the following week (March 2). Girls basketball state tournament seeds were released Friday, January 27 and there weren't any surprises when it comes to number 1 seeds: Bolingbrook, Young, Marist, Bartlett, Maine South and Fremd received top sectional seeds in Class 4A, while in Class 3A, local number 1 seeds included Hillcrest, Montini, Grayslake Central and Guerin.
