Will-Cook-Kankakee (WCK) Youth Association put together their very first annual all-star game featuring the best of the best Varsity players in the league. Besides being able to play football at a high level, each player selected also had to be a good student too.

This game lived up to the definition of best of best thru halftime when the score was tied at 6, but in the second half, the American team, turned the ball over twice in which the National team returned the ball to the end zone on both. From here, the National team took a commanding lead and victory of 25-6.

Big thanks and appreciation for all of the players who stepped up to the challenge of playing in this last game for WCK, as well as all of the volunteers that made this game to place. In addition, special thanks to the folks over at Country Club Hills for hosting.

NOTE: At the time of this writing, we are compiling video highlights from the game. Stay tune!  If you would like to know when the video highlights are available, click here.

Well, until next time folks...
