Chicago - With this game being played at St. Rita's field, Pat Cronin Field, from the very first possession, Leo jumped all over Seton behind outstanding running back Robert Morgan. Morgan, who is undeclared, finished the game with five touchdowns and over 250 yards on the ground.
Darwin Rogers also played an important role on the afternoon by playing both ways, quarterback and safety. At quarterback, he had two touchdowns, one in the air to John Gatewood, and one on the ground.
Leo's defense definitely put the clamps on the Sting this afternoon led by Emanuel Williams.
Everything seemed to be clicking this afternoon for the Lions. On a botched extra point, the holder, Jeremy Herron, was able to hold the ball and scramble towards the end zone then lateral the ball to kicker, Ernest Jackson.
Down the stretch, Seton began running the "forbidding offense," the A-11 and have some bright spots on offense with a short touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter.
