Indians captures the Bengals

Oak Forest - The Bengals host Lemont in the battle of the South Suburban Blue. Both teams were undefeated at 7-0, 3-0 and have a trip to Champaign, Illinois in sight. The duel came down to the battle of running backs, Danny Hayes (Lemont) vs. Bobby Walsh (Oak Forest). 

According to the power ranking, provided by Sports Power, these two teams rank as follows:

Oak Forest struck first on their second play from scrimmage with a long touchdown pass from Jon Wolf to Steve Freeze to excite the home crowd. But, the rest of the game was controlled by the Lemont Indians.

Hayes carried the load, as expected, rushing for over 150 yards and two touchdowns. After the game, Hayes said "it was a great team victory."

The Indians captured their second division crown and remained undefeated 8-0, 4-0.
