Dunbar vs. Simeon 7 p.m. Friday at Gately
Big public league game here... both of these teams share the same records of 3-2 and 2-0 in the Red Bird conference so that illustrates the weight of this match-up. The Wolverines have looked increasingly dominant each of the past three weeks as Arkansas-bound quarterback Robert Gregory gets closer to full strength after an early-season collarbone. Dunbar will lean on the talents of quarterback Darvell Harris for the victory.

Lincoln-Way East at Bolingbrook 7:30 p.m. Friday
In a word, O-F-F-E-N-S-E!!!! Both of these teams have shown some explosiveness over the pass five weeks. East is led by the senior duo of quarterback Blake Winkler (64 of 109, 1,200 yards, 16 touchdowns) and Illinois-bound receiver J.J. Robertson, who averages almost 30 yards per catch. Bolingbrook counters with quarterback Aaron Bailey, one of the rising stars of the Class of 2013, and a defense led by Florida-bound linebacker Antonio Morrison and defensive back Tevin Teamer, who had two interceptions last week vs. Homewood-Flossmoor.

Rich South at Rich Central 6:00 p.m. Friday
In a word... HOMECOMING!!!

Mount Carmel at Loyola 1:30 p.m. Saturday (WWME-TV)
This Catholic League Blue matchup here was circled by many as an important game and now, two undefeated teams face off. The Caravan are coming into this contest running hard and fast with the option using Brandon Greer, who is averaging 8.2 per carry. Loyola has also shown plenty of offensive punch with playmakers like quarterback Malcolm Weaver, receivers Marquese Martin-Hayes and Charlie Dowdle and running back Willie Palivos.
